Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced IT Support professional to lead desktop support operations and manage Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, end-user computing, and IT asset management. Mandatory Requirement: Hands-on experience with Active Directory is essential. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead L1/L2 desktop support and end-user technical support operations. • Troubleshoot Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, applications, and peripherals. • Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, Group Policy (GPO), and access permissions. • Manage Windows Server administration, DNS, DHCP, and file-sharing permissions. • Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, system allocation, and access provisioning. • Support Microsoft 365, email, and collaboration tools. • Manage IT tickets, incidents, service requests, and SLA compliance. • Maintain IT asset inventory, software licensing, and hardware lifecycle management. • Implement endpoint security, patch management, system hardening, and access control policies. • Monitor server health, backups, storage, and critical IT services. • Support Windows installation, deployment, upgrades, and system migrations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 3–6 Years (relevant experience preferred). • Mandatory: Practical experience in Active Directory administration. • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server. • Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, GPO, and user access management. • Experience in L1/L2 desktop support and IT troubleshooting. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, IT ticketing systems, and IT asset management. • Good communication, troubleshooting, and team coordination skills. • Ideal Candidates currently working as: Lead System Administrator, Senior System Administrator, Lead Desktop Support Engineer, Senior Desktop Support Engineer, Desktop Support Team Lead.
