Role & Company / Project Overview: Nokia has an urgent opening for a Senior Mechatronics Test Engineer (Requisition #39399) in Sunnyvale and San Jose, California. The engineer will focus on automated test fixtures, precision motion systems, and electromechanical testing for photonic and optical hardware. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, assemble, and validate mechatronic test systems, precision optical alignment stages, and robotic handlers. • Develop automated control software to integrate motion control, optical instrumentation, and RF test equipment. • Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on custom automated test stations. • Work closely with test development and production teams to optimize cycle times and testing accuracy.
