Role & Company / Project Overview: Nokia is hiring a High-Speed RF Test Engineer (Requisition #37685) in Sunnyvale and San Jose, California. The engineer will focus on high-frequency RF testing and validation of optical networking hardware and photonic components. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct high-speed RF characterization and signal integrity validation of optical components and transceivers. • Develop automated measurement workflows for high-frequency RF parameters and electro-optical metrics. • Debug RF test fixtures, evaluate yield issues, and work on root cause analysis for RF performance degradation. • Interface with optical and test engineering teams to optimize test methods and testing throughput. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in RF / High-Speed Test Engineering within electronics, semiconductor, or optical domains. • Familiarity with Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC), Silicon Photonics, and optical communications. • Expertise in RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
