Role & Company / Project Overview: Nokia is seeking a Staff PIC Test Development Engineer (Requisition #40967) to join its team in Sunnyvale and San Jose, California. This critical role supports the development and commercialization of next-generation optical networking systems and Photonic Integrated Circuits. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, and implement wafer-level and die-level optical and electrical testing methodologies for Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC). • Build and optimize automated test hardware and software routines for high-throughput characterization. • Partner with optical design and FAB teams to analyze test metrics and optimize fabrication processes. • Troubleshoot test fixture and device-level anomalies to enhance testing efficiency and production yield. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong engineering background in Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC), Silicon Photonics, and optical test engineering. • Familiarity with III-V technologies and optical communication systems. • Demonstrated proficiency in optical characterization, test automation, and yield analysis.
