Role & Company / Project Overview: Nokia is recruiting a PIC Development Technical Leader (Requisition #41078) in Sunnyvale and San Jose, California. This leadership role will guide technical development for Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) innovations powering next-generation optical communications. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide overall technical leadership and direction for photonic integrated circuit development programs. • Drive alignment across PIC design, modulator development, semiconductor fabrication, and test engineering. • Oversee process integration and yield improvement strategies from prototype stages through to production ramp. • Champion technical excellence, mentor engineering teams, and interface with key optical architects. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Extensive technical leadership background in Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) and Silicon Photonics. • Strong mastery of III-V technologies, optical communications, and semiconductor manufacturing. • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams across device design, fabrication, and test development.
