Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Urgent hiring for a JS3 – Data Center Technician III (Lead) in Denver, Colorado. The lead technician directs operational teams, oversees vendor execution, and leads optical testing and maintenance. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead fibre optic installations, remediations, break/fix, and cable migrations. • Conduct optical testing using power meters, VFL, and OTDR. • Audit and supervise third-party technicians and ensure compliance with MOPs and engineering diagrams. • Interface directly with customers and project leads to resolve complex infrastructure issues. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3–15 years of technical infrastructure or data center operations experience with team leadership background. • Expertise in single-mode/multimode fibre, LC connectors, and optical transport troubleshooting. • Ability to interpret MOPs and network diagrams. • U.S. Work Authorization: No visa sponsorship provided (H-1, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, TN, F-1 CPT, or EAD not eligible). Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Denver, Colorado. • Shift Work: Morning (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM) and Afternoon/Evening (3:30 PM – 10:30 PM) shifts. • Travel: Comfortable travelling between local/regional facilities for assignments.
