Role & Company / Project Overview: Urgent hiring for a JS3 – Data Center Technician III (Lead) in Plano, Texas. This role leads technical crews in optical infrastructure troubleshooting, cable migrations, and client interactions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Oversee single-mode/multimode fibre installations, LC connectors, and complex migrations. • Conduct optical tests with OTDR, VFL, and optical power meters. • Supervise third-party technicians, ensure MOP compliance, and interpret engineering schematics. • Lead local site teams and manage direct customer interactions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3–15 years of technical infrastructure or data center operations experience. • Strong team leadership skills and customer-facing experience. • Deep optical testing and cabling expertise. • U.S. Work Authorization: Client does not sponsor U.S. work authorization. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Plano, Texas. • Shifts: Morning (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM) or Afternoon/Evening (3:30 PM – 10:30 PM). • Travel: Local and regional travel between data center sites as required.
