Role & Company / Project Overview: SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre invites applications for the post of Professor in the Department of Family Medicine to lead academic training and comprehensive primary healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide comprehensive primary care, preventive healthcare, and family-centered clinical consultations. • Lead academic teaching, community-oriented primary care training, and clinical mentorship for medical students and residents. • Foster multidisciplinary approaches to family medicine and community health. • Drive department research, family practice audits, and publications in relevant medical journals. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • MD / DNB in Family Medicine or General Medicine from an NMC-recognized institution. • Prescribed teaching and clinical experience required for the post of Professor as per NMC norms. • Track record of academic leadership, clinical care, and scholarly publications. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur / Chennai, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, India. • Work Setup: Full-time hospital and college role.
