Role & Company / Project Overview: SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre invites applications from senior medical specialists for the role of Professor in the Department of Dermatology. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and oversee the clinical dermatology services, OPD consultations, and specialised procedural treatments. • Direct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs, clinical grand rounds, and curriculum delivery in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy. • Mentor postgraduates, fellows, and junior faculty in clinical research, procedural skills, and case presentations. • Guide departmental research, publication efforts, and institutional academic development. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • MD / DNB / DVD in Dermatology / DVL from a recognized medical institution. • Minimum teaching experience as prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the rank of Professor. • Substantial record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur / Chennai, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, India. • Work Setup: Full-time hospital/college appointment.
