Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced Service Manager for a manufacturing company specializing in bagging, weighing, batching, and packaging automation systems. The Service Manager will lead service operations, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive/breakdown maintenance across industrial sites. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage service engineers, technicians, and customer service activities. • Lead machine installation, commissioning, breakdown resolution, and preventive maintenance. • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC/HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems. • Handle customer complaints, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. • Coordinate with internal departments for spares, technical improvements, and timely service execution. • Monitor service performance, maintain detailed reports, and ensure customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering. • Experience: Minimum 10 Years of relevant industry experience. • Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation, bagging and weighing systems, PLC/HMI, VFD, load cells, sensors, pneumatics, and reading mechanical/electrical drawings. • Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, customer handling, and communication skills. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India. • Onsite role with willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
