We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Head (AGM/DGM) to lead our Transformer Design function. The ideal candidate will manage a high-performing design team and drive the electrical and mechanical design of power and special transformers. Key responsibilities include overseeing the complete design lifecycle of Oil-Filled Distribution Transformers, Power Transformers up to 100 MVA 220 kV Class, Instrument Transformers (IDT), and Special Purpose Transformers; developing and reviewing electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation; coordinating with production, quality, testing, procurement, and project teams; driving design optimization initiatives for cost reduction and quality improvement; ensuring compliance with industry standards; providing technical mentorship; and supporting customer discussions. Qualifications: 10–12 years of experience, B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
