We are seeking an experienced API Gateway Engineer / Layer7 Consultant with strong expertise in API security, gateway administration, and middleware technologies. The role involves authenticating internal and external API calls with required modifications, managing server certificates, Mutual TLS (mTLS), PKI, and certificate lifecycle, configuring HTTP/HTTPS protocols, performing DNS-related activities, administering Linux servers hosting Layer7 Gateway, and supporting/maintaining API Gateway infrastructure during US Central business hours. Required: 5+ years experience with Layer7 API Gateway (Broadcom/CA Technologies), middleware application support, strong API Gateway administration and networking knowledge, hands-on experience with REST APIs (URL transformation, updates, routing), expertise in certificates, PKI, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and Mutual TLS (mTLS), and Linux server administration.
