We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer to join an AI Labs team focused on building production-ready AI solutions for leading global retailers and brands. This full-time contractor role is perfect for someone with strong full-stack engineering experience, hands-on expertise with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and the ability to design scalable AI-powered applications across multiple client environments. The position is remote for candidates in LATAM including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. Responsibilities include writing production-level TypeScript code, building full-stack prototypes, working with LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI), designing and testing prompts and agentic workflows, building monitoring systems, analyzing datasets, and contributing to technical decisions. Requirements include 7+ years of software development experience, proficiency in React, TypeScript, and SQL, hands-on experience with LLM APIs, strong system design understanding, advanced English communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Nice-to-have experience includes retail/e-commerce, startup environments, and Java or Python knowledge. Compensation is $32-$35 per hour USD.
