We are seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Specialist to manage employment-based immigration cases for employees and consultants. The ideal candidate will coordinate with employees, attorneys, recruiters, HR, and clients to ensure timely processing of visa petitions, work authorizations, and immigration compliance. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end employment-based immigration cases such as H-1B, H-4 EAD, F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, L-1, TN, PERM Labor Certification, I-140, I-485 (Adjustment of Status), and coordinating with immigration attorneys. The role requires tracking visa expiration dates, EAD renewals, passport validity, and I-94 records, maintaining employee immigration files, ensuring USCIS compliance, and preparing supporting documents. The specialist will respond to employee questions, ensure I-9 employment eligibility verification, monitor changes in immigration laws, generate reports, and manage premium processing requests and RFEs. Required skills include strong knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration, USCIS processes, H-1B cap and transfers, OPT/STEM OPT compliance, PERM recruitment, I-9 and E-Verify, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 2-5+ years of U.S. corporate immigration experience in IT staffing, and familiarity with case management systems like INSZoom or LawLogix.
