Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join the Catalog Team and build scalable Machine Learning and NLP solutions to improve product classification, attribute extraction, product matching, deduplication, and catalog data quality. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience applying Machine Learning, NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI to real-world e-commerce or retail catalog challenges. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Build scalable ML and NLP solutions to enhance product classification and attribute extraction. - Implement models for product matching, deduplication, and overall catalog data quality. - Apply LLMs, Generative AI, and embeddings to address retail catalog intelligence and merchandising needs. - Process large-scale data using Spark / PySpark. - Deploy and maintain production machine learning models. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: 10+ years preferred. - Visa Requirement: Green Card (GC) or U.S. Citizen (USC). - Top Priority: Candidates with strong retail/e-commerce catalog experience, merchandising knowledge, and practical GenAI/LLM implementation experience. - Must-Have Skills: - E-commerce / Retail Catalog Experience - Merchandising & Product Data Intelligence - Python, SQL & Machine Learning - NLP, Text Classification & Attribute Extraction - LLMs, Generative AI & Embeddings - Spark / PySpark & Large-Scale Data Processing - Cloud Platforms – AWS, GCP, or Azure - Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow - Production ML Model Deployment • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: 100% Remote. - Employment Type: Contract (W2). • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated resume via email.
