Role & Company / Project Overview Baanyan is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our technology team in Edison, NJ. In this role, you will contribute directly to high-impact technology projects by leveraging machine learning, statistical modeling, and modern AI/ML technologies to build robust analytical and predictive solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Develop, validate, and deploy advanced machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions. • Perform complex statistical modeling and data analysis using Python and SQL. • Apply AI/ML techniques, including natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, and deep learning architectures, to solve critical business problems. • Work with data engineering and project teams to translate project objectives into scalable algorithmic workflows. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning. • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. • Solid background in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and advanced ML techniques. • Familiarity with modern data science tools and frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn). • Knowledge and experience in AI/ML domains including Generative AI, NLP, and Deep Learning. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Employment Type: W2 Contract. • Location: Edison, New Jersey (Onsite/Hybrid as designated for the project).
