Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Production Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in Linux Administration, Production Support, Automation, Incident Management, and Cross-Stack Troubleshooting. Ideal background includes profiles such as Senior Linux Production Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Production Reliability Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or Application Support Engineer. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Support daily, weekly, and monthly production operations. • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes strictly within established SLAs. • Troubleshoot complex production issues across application, Linux, database, and infrastructure layers. • Participate actively in incident response and comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implementing corrective and preventive actions. • Execute monthly OS patching cycles, planning, validation, remediation, and maintaining strict compliance. • Develop Bash and Python scripts for operational automation. • Build, enhance, and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and technical support documentation. • Identify operational risks and service-impacting issues, escalating appropriately. • Leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and minimize repetitive support tasks. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8 to 12 years of overall professional experience. • 5+ years of hands-on Linux System Administration experience. • 5+ years supporting SQL-based database environments. • Strong background in Application Production Support. • Hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow (SNOW) and Jira. • In-depth knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management frameworks. • Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash or Python. • Proven ability in cross-stack troubleshooting across Application, OS, Database, and Infrastructure. • Comprehensive experience in OS Patching (planning, execution, validation, remediation). • Production Reliability / SRE / IT Operations operational expertise. • Strong technical documentation abilities, including runbooks and operational procedures. • Experience utilizing Anthropic Claude or similar approved AI tools for operational automation, documentation, analysis, or repetitive support workflows.
