For over thirty years I've helped owners of established, service-based companies grow — growth that reaches more people and means more, without wearing down the people who make it possible. In partnership with a seasoned colleague (also with 30 years of experience), I'm now building a small group of advisors to carry that work further than I can reach on my own, and we're looking for a People Architect. This is the human side of business growth. You'd work as one half of a two-person advising team — paired with a Business Architect and backed by our home office with a Financial Architect to deal with financial analysis and support — so you can spend your time where you do your best work: with owners and their people, addressing the human side of business growth. The real work is helping owners see their people differently. Rethinking the unspoken contract between owners and the people who've chosen to build something with them. Hiring well. Growing managers who can support people's growth, and leaders who grow other leaders. As a company grows, it moves through stages. With that growth, human dynamics shift. New behaviors appear. Old ones stop working. Your job is to read that accurately and help everyone move through it. Everything is built on a growing foundation of trust. If that's not where you reside, this is not the role for you. The people we want to talk to have done this before. You might come from organizational development or executive coaching. You might be an independent consultant who has built a real practice. You might have grown a people-centered business of your own. What matters is that you understand people — what moves them, what trips them up, what they're really telling you — and that you've earned a solid living doing it. But the thing we care about most isn't on a résumé. We’re looking for someone who measures a good day by what they got to give to it, who wants to work alongside like-minded people, and who can hold a fast pace while still making room for the humanity of everyone in the room — clients, colleagues, and the people our clients lead. It starts as a paid part-time arrangement which includes going through an initial learning curve, to understand, absorb, and use our specific methods. It evolves fairly quickly into a gig with earnings that grow well into multiple six figures as you take on more. We bring the clients. You bring your expertise. This is for people already used to earning at a six figure level. If this sounds like you, I'd like to hear from you.
