Source and manage local and international suppliers, fabricators, OEMs and engineering service providers. Handle RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders and contract follow-up. Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams to understand technical requirements and specifications. Ensure availability of critical and strategic spare parts to minimize plant downtime. Support inventory optimization of both fast-moving and critical slow-moving engineering spares. Maintain market intelligence on suppliers, lead times, alternative sources and pricing trends. Identify opportunities for repair, refurbishment, fabrication or alternative sourcing solutions where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Should Have: Proven experience procuring engineering spare parts within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of plant maintenance spares and industrial equipment. Familiarity with sourcing items such as Electric Motors, Pumps, Valves, Bearings, Gearboxes, V-Belts, Mechanical Seals, Sensors, PLC Components, Control Panels, Instrumentation Equipment, Compressors, Blowers, Industrial Automation Components. Knowledge of industrial suppliers, fabrication facilities and engineering service providers. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and spare parts requirements.
