Role & Company / Project Overview: Quality IT Resourcing is hiring an experienced Senior Training Specialist with a strong combination of technical audiovisual expertise, adult learning, training development, and user-focused technical communication. This is an 11-month onsite contract opportunity in Toronto, Ontario. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive technical training programs. • Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions tailored for diverse user groups. • Develop detailed user manuals, instructional materials, and interactive e-learning modules. • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and review control-system graphical user interfaces. • Facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain training documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of adult training experience. • At least 5 years of hands-on audio and video conferencing technology experience. • Strong knowledge of AV hardware, video conferencing platforms, cameras, displays, microphones, audio amplification, connectors, and touch-panel controllers. • Proven experience creating training manuals, user guides, e-learning modules, and technical documentation. • Practical, scenario-based training delivery experience utilizing real-world use cases. • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language. • Experience with Adobe Captivate and creating accessible learning materials. • Solid knowledge of AODA accessibility requirements and adult learning principles. • Experience conducting training needs assessments, UAT, business analysis, and user interface reviews. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Onsite). • Important: Open exclusively to candidates currently based in Canada who can attend onsite in Toronto. Candidates outside Canada are requested not to apply. • Contract Duration: 11 Months. Compensation & Benefits: • Rate: $50–$60/hour Inc. (T4 rate discussed separately).
