• Role & Company / Project Overview: Opportunity for an experienced Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. - Job ID: RQ11517 - Contract Duration: Start Date October 26, 2026 to End Date October 1, 2027 - Security Clearance: Not required - Extension: Probable after the initial mandate • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) within the public sector. - Perform privacy risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies. - Analyze IT systems, data flows, and information security architectures. - Engage in stakeholder consultations. - Prepare comprehensive PIA reports, briefing materials, and training resources. - Follow and execute Ontario Public Service (OPS) privacy processes. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Strong knowledge of privacy and information security principles. - Demonstrated experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) in the public sector. - In-depth knowledge of Ontario privacy legislation, including FIPPA, MFIPPA, and PHIPA. - Solid experience with privacy risk assessments and mitigation strategies. - Strong understanding of IT systems, data flows, and information security. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder consultation skills. - Proven ability to prepare PIA reports, briefing materials, and training resources. - Familiarity with OPS privacy processes and public-sector environments. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario - Work Schedule: Onsite – 5 days a week, 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates must submit their updated resume in Word format along with references, expected hourly rate, visa status, and LinkedIn profile link. - Submission Deadline: October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
