We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / AI Architect with deep expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM ecosystems, and enterprise AI architecture. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable AI-powered solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring governance, security, and responsible AI practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in AI/ML architecture, multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native platforms. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, AI/ML, or related technology leadership roles. Strong expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration platforms, API-led enterprise architecture, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Enterprise AI solution design and integration. Deep understanding of AI workflow orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge retrieval systems, Automation and intelligent decisioning platforms, Scalable enterprise architecture principles. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, and AIOps practices. Hands-on experience with multi-agent AI systems. Knowledge of workflow automation and enterprise integration platforms. Familiarity with AI governance, privacy regulations, and risk management frameworks. Experience working within regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Public Sector. Preferred Certifications: Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP or CISM (Nice to Have), AI Governance and Cloud Certifications. This is a hybrid contract role based in Toronto, Ontario with 3 days/week in-office preferred.
