We are actively seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for a remote contract with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This position requires 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience, with expertise in Oracle 19c (or higher) Infrastructure Management, Grid Infrastructure (ASM & Clusterware), High Availability (GoldenGate & Active Data Guard), advanced Linux and SQL scripting, Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai upgrade experience, performance tuning, database patching, security compliance, and ETL environment support. Preferred qualifications include State/Federal/Local Government project experience, Oracle PeopleSoft experience, and hosting vendor experience. The contract duration is 6+ weeks with high possibility of extension. Work is remote and all work-authorized visas are welcome except OPT and H1B Transfer.
