We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer to join an innovative team building cutting-edge AI-powered solutions and scalable backend systems in San Jose, California. This is an onsite, full-time role open to C2C and W2 candidates. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs using FastAPI and Django; building backend systems that power AI agents and agentic workflows; implementing secure authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect); designing routing, orchestration, and service communication patterns; and ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and performance. Required skills: expert-level Python (3.10+), strong experience with FastAPI and Django, experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), Docker, AWS/GCP, and asynchronous task queues. Candidates with strong backend architecture and API development experience and experience working on AI/LLM-powered applications are highly preferred. H-1B candidates must have their petition filed under LCA Wage Level III or Level IV, and those associated with a Level III Petitioner/Employer are preferred. Working hours: standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
