Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Arkkosoft is looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join their team in San José, Costa Rica on a hybrid basis. The role offers the opportunity to help build reliable, scalable, and high-quality digital products for candidates passionate about test automation, software quality, and innovative technologies. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. - Develop and maintain smoke, regression, integration, and API test suites. - Perform performance, load, stress, and accessibility testing. - Explore AI-assisted testing and develop strategies for testing AI-powered applications, including LLMs and agent workflows. - Implement contract testing, contribute to quality metrics, and promote best practices across engineering teams. - Support quality standards and regulatory validation requirements when needed. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience, including at least 3 years in test automation. - Experience with at least two automation frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Detox, or RestAssured. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with CI/CD, API testing, and familiarity with mobile and performance testing. - Knowledge of risk-based testing, shift-left practices, and modern QA methodologies. - Familiarity with AI testing, contract testing, and chaos engineering is a plus. - English B2+ / C1 level proficiency. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: San José, Costa Rica. - Work Model: Hybrid. • Application Instructions - Send your updated CV to the designated recruitment email with the subject line 'QA Automation Engineer'.
