We are hiring a Process Operator for the Production Department in the FMCG / Food Processing industry, reporting to the Production Supervisor / Shift In-Charge. The job purpose is to operate, monitor, and control the French Fries production process, ensuring production targets, quality standards, food safety requirements, and operational efficiency are achieved while maintaining a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include operating and monitoring processing equipment in the French Fries production line such as Potato Receiving System, Washing & Sorting Line, Peeling Equipment, Cutting Machines, Blanching System, Drying Line, Fryers, Freezing Tunnel (IQF), and Packaging Machines. The operator must monitor production parameters, make necessary adjustments, achieve daily production targets, minimize downtime, monitor critical process parameters like frying temperature, oil quality and filtration, blanching time and temperature, product moisture levels, freezing temperature, and product weight specifications. The role also involves reporting process deviations, taking corrective actions, and reporting abnormal conditions. Operators must ensure fries meet specifications for color, length, texture, moisture content, taste, and weight accuracy, following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Management System (FSMS), and company quality standards. They must support Quality Assurance during inspections and audits, ensure proper sanitation and hygiene, conduct pre-startup equipment checks, perform routine operational inspections, assist maintenance teams during breakdowns and preventive maintenance, and maintain cleanliness. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures must be followed. Education: Intermediate (Science) or DAE in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Food Technology, or related discipline, with Diploma in Food Processing Technology preferred. Experience: 1-3 years in food manufacturing or FMCG production, preferably in frozen foods, potato processing, or French Fries manufacturing.
