Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: ADI HR & Consulting is seeking a hands-on, specialist SOC Analyst L3 based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This technical role focuses on advanced incident response, proactive threat hunting, and detection engineering to investigate complex security incidents and fortify organizational detection capabilities. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Advanced Incident Response: Investigate complex security incidents, analyze attack patterns, determine root causes, and support comprehensive incident containment and remediation. • Threat Hunting: Proactively identify suspicious activities, attack indicators, and threats capable of bypassing conventional security monitoring. • SIEM Expertise: Perform hands-on SIEM investigation, correlation, tuning, optimization, and enhance detection effectiveness. • Detection Engineering: Develop, test, and refine detection rules to identify sophisticated threats while minimizing false positives. • MITRE ATT&CK Framework: Apply adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to expand threat detection coverage and evaluate security posture. • Demonstrate practical technical contributions beyond theoretical knowledge or routine alert triage. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: Strictly 5 to 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience with demonstrable hands-on expertise in SOC operations at the L3 level (candidates outside this range will not be considered). • Proven expertise in Advanced Incident Response, Threat Hunting, SIEM tuning/optimization, Detection Engineering, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. • Important Note: Profiles primarily focused on L1/L2 SOC monitoring, IAM, GRC, infrastructure support, or general cybersecurity without strong L3 hands-on expertise will not qualify. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Mandatory: candidates must currently be based in Riyadh; Saudi Nationals are preferred). Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: SAR 15,000 to SAR 20,000 per month.
