Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Opportunity for an L1 SOC Analyst in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to join a security operations center team responsible for real-time security monitoring, threat detection, and incident handling. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Conduct real-time security monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation. - Analyze security logs, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and firewall logs. - Apply MITRE ATT&CK framework techniques during triage and investigation. - Utilize SIEM and SOAR tools to identify and respond to potential cyber threats. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 1–3 years of experience in a SOC environment or security monitoring. - Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Google SecOps/Chronicle, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, or ArcSight. - Experience with SOAR platforms such as Palo Alto XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, or IBM Resilient. - Solid knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, security alert triage, and incident escalation procedures. - Thorough understanding of network protocols and logs (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewall logs). - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Preferred: Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or ISC² CC, along with exposure to AI-assisted SOC workflows. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. - Shift Details: Willingness to work rotational shifts is required. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should submit their CV via email.
