Role & Company / Project Overview: ScribeRunner is looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing team in Lahore supporting U.S. healthcare practices through AI-enabled workflows. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Oversee cyber security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management. • Conduct SIEM monitoring, incident handling, and EDR management. • Manage identity security, Microsoft 365 Security, and Microsoft Entra ID administration. • Utilize vulnerability assessment tools to detect, analyze, and mitigate potential risks. • Address phishing, malware, ransomware, and identity security threats while upholding HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 2 to 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, SOC, or Information Security. • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. • Hands-on experience with SIEM monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Entra ID, and EDR. • Familiarity with tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, or equivalent. • Strong understanding of phishing, malware, ransomware, identity security, networking, HIPAA, and SOC 2. • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills. • Security+, CEH, SC 900, SC 200, or Microsoft Security certifications are a plus.
