Role & Company / Project Overview: BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. is seeking a Junior Intel Server Support specialist for a Crown corporation client (a Saskatchewan-based electricity utilities crown-corp) located in Regina, Saskatchewan. This is a full-time contract engagement with 100% guaranteed utilization. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Administer and support Windows Server environments, including patching, upgrades, server images, and system builds. • Monitor system performance, capacity, and system alerts, managing and resolving incidents in accordance with established escalation procedures. • Support server backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability operations. • Maintain comprehensive server documentation, system configurations, and performance reports. • Collaborate and interface with third-party vendors and internal technical teams on scheduled maintenance windows and agreed service levels. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Hands-on experience with Windows Server configuration and administration. • ITIL certification (Foundation or Service Manager). • 0 to 3 years of relevant junior-level experience, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. • Nice to Have / Preferred: Azure experience handling Windows workloads; virtualization exposure and hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, etc. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite in Regina, SK. • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Contract Term: November 30, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
