We are hiring an experienced Azure Platform Engineer/Lead for a leading Manufacturing Company. Location: Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Work Model: 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week). Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time. Employment Type: 3-6 Months Contract-to-Hire. Interview Process: 2 Rounds. Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Azure Platform Engineer/Lead with 7-9+ years of hands-on experience in Azure platform engineering, automation, CI/CD, and cloud governance. This role will lead cloud modernization initiatives, drive platform automation, and deliver secure, scalable, and highly available Azure solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor Azure cloud engineers, platform engineers, and automation specialists; Define and execute Azure platform strategy, roadmap, and modernization initiatives; Design, automate, and deploy Azure resources using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines; Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI; Partner with application teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient Azure solutions; Drive platform governance using Azure Policies, RBAC, tagging strategies, and security baselines; Lead L3/L4 incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation activities; Ensure high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity across Azure environments; Partner with FinOps teams on Azure cost optimization, reservations, savings plans, and cloud financial governance; Manage platform KPIs, technical debt reduction, operational health, and continuous improvement initiatives.
