Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Hardware and Embedded Security to support embedded product security, hardware penetration testing, threat modeling, and security risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with hardware security technologies, secure boot mechanisms, cryptography, and embedded cybersecurity standards. Open to all visa types on C2C. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Conduct threat modeling, hardware security testing, and penetration testing on embedded products. - Implement and evaluate TrustZone, TPM, HSM, Secure Elements, Hardware Root of Trust, and Secure Boot mechanisms. - Perform security assessments and comprehensive risk analysis. - Develop automation and test scripting using OpenOCD, Python, or Java. - Apply and ensure compliance with hardware and embedded cybersecurity standards and protocols. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 4–8 Years of overall experience (Minimum 4 years of relevant hardware/embedded cybersecurity experience required). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a cybersecurity focus. - Strong expertise in TrustZone, TPM, HSM, Secure Elements, Hardware Root of Trust, and Secure Boot. - Proficient with OpenOCD and scripting/automation using Python or Java. - In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards and protocols: IEC 62443, UL 2900, IEC 15118, SAE J21434, OCPP, and Matter. - Solid background in cryptography, networking, authentication, identity management, PKI, and X.509 certificates. - Preferred Skills: * Side-channel analysis and fault injection. * Secure firmware development, provisioning, and validation. * Hardware supplier risk assessment and PKCS standards. * AI-based cybersecurity tools and embedded product security. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Pittsburgh, PA (100% Onsite) - Employment Type: C2C - Visa: Open to All Visa Types • Application Instructions - Please read the JD carefully and share your updated resume via direct message or email.
