We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and manage all engineering and maintenance functions at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong – MGallery Collection, a Michelin-recognised luxury hillside resort in Patong, Phuket. Reporting to senior management, this role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the property’s physical asset while maintaining the highest standards of guest comfort. Key responsibilities include directing mechanical, electrical, and civil systems; leading a skilled on-property team; driving sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives; and overseeing HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire and life safety systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related field) and at least 7–8 years of hotel engineering leadership experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years as Chief Engineer. Prior resort experience is mandatory, and strong English communication skills are required.
