• Role & Company / Project Overview Gulf Mining Materials Co. is looking for a qualified Mining Engineer to join their team in Oman (Total Vacancies: 2). The role requires immediate joining. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage open-pit mining operations with a focus on Chromite ore extraction. - Handle production planning, bench design, pit optimization, and slope stability monitoring. - Execute drilling and blasting operations, powder factor optimization, and overburden management. - Oversee mine surveying, grade control, and ore quality assessment. - Ensure compliance with mining regulations, site safety management (HSE), and workforce supervision. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering. - Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in open-pit mining operations, specifically in Chromite ore extraction. - Expertise in production planning, bench design, pit optimization, and slope stability monitoring. - Proficiency in drilling and blasting execution, powder factor optimization, and overburden management. - Strong working knowledge of mine surveying, grade control, and ore quality assessment. - Thorough understanding of mining regulatory compliance, site safety management (HSE), and workforce supervision. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Oman. - Onsite project location. - Immediate joining required. • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: Based on experience. • Application Instructions Send your updated CV to the designated WhatsApp contact number.
