We are hiring a Thermal Systems Development Engineer to join a team driving advanced vehicle thermal performance and next-generation system development. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing system-level thermal performance requirements, translating system requirements into component-level specifications, collaborating with thermal, system, and electrical engineering teams, owning 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for thermal components, applying DFMEA and DVP&R methodologies for robust design development, coordinating with suppliers for design reviews and feasibility studies, defining and tracking DV & PV test plans and resolving design issues, supporting lab testing (thermal cycling, vibration, pressure tests, etc.), performing Root Cause Analysis and implementing design improvements, interfacing with test engineers and leveraging test data for optimization, and ensuring timely part release aligned with vehicle build milestones. Qualifications include strong experience in thermal system development or automotive engineering, hands-on knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation processes, experience with CAD modeling (3D & 2D drawing ownership), strong understanding of testing, validation and root cause analysis, ability to work with cross-functional and supplier teams, and strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.
