• Role & Company / Project Overview Role: Data Center Field Operations Technician Company / Agency: Siri Soft Solutions Open Positions: Approximately 200 Employment Type: Longterm Contract Target Profile: US Citizens with 4+ years of experience. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Hands-on data center operations, structured cabling, and network hardware support. - Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting (Mandatory). - Handle Cat6A, OM4, OS2, MPO/MTP fiber cabling. - Utilize OTDR, optical power meters, VFL, and fiber testing tools. - Perform rack & stack, server/network hardware installation, cable management, and labeling. - Carry out physical layer (Layer 1) troubleshooting, network circuit testing, and break/fix support. - Work with switches, routers, optics, transceivers, and perform hardware replacements. - Support hyperscale data centers or large-scale rack deployments. - Utilize ticketing systems, handle asset management, and strictly follow data center safety procedures. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience: 4+ Years (Rate brackets: 4–5 Years, 5–8 Years, 8+ Years). - Visa requirement: US Citizen. - Priority given to candidates with strong hands-on fiber optic and data center infrastructure experience who can join immediately or at short notice. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: New Albany, Ohio – 100% Onsite. - Work Schedule: 24×7 operations with rotating shifts (Day/Swing/Night). - Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules. - Relocation: Initial assignment in Ohio for 3–4 months, followed by relocation to Louisiana.
