Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Urgent hiring for a JS1 - Junior/Associate Data Center Technician supporting multiple opportunities with a leading client across the United States. This role provides entry-level to early-career technicians an opportunity to work on mission-critical data center infrastructure. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Assist with basic data center operations, rack-and-stack activities, and hardware setup. • Support computer hardware, networking, telecommunications, and structured cabling tasks. • Adhere to facility guidelines, quality execution standards, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Recent technical college graduates with relevant diplomas, apprenticeship experience, or approximately 1–2 years of relevant or related experience. • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, telecommunications, cabling, and data center infrastructure. • U.S. Work Authorization: Client does not sponsor U.S. work authorization, including initial or change-of-employer filings for H-1, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN visas. Candidates on F-1 CPT or EAD authorization are not eligible. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: New Albany, Ohio. • Shift Work Required: Candidates must be open to shift work: - Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM - Afternoon/Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM • Travel: Must be comfortable travelling between data centre facilities within the same geographical area; assignments at nearby facilities may last several weeks at a time.
