We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team in Munich. In this role, you will actively shape modern IT infrastructures, further develop cloud and data center landscapes, and ensure secure and stable IT operations. You will take responsibility for the operation, further development, and optimization of the data center and server infrastructure based on Nutanix HCI. You will design and implement modern network architectures in LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments including routing, firewalling, and VPN. You will build and further develop hybrid cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. You will automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting. You will ensure IT security standards across server, network, and cloud environments. You will process complex incidents and changes in 2nd/3rd level support and participate in infrastructure and transformation projects. Qualifications include a degree in computer science, business informatics, a comparable education, or several years of professional experience in the infrastructure environment; experience in operating complex data center, server, and virtualization environments, ideally with Nutanix HCI; knowledge of modern network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and SD-WAN; expertise in building and operating hybrid cloud environments, especially in the Microsoft Azure environment; understanding of IT security topics such as identity and access management, hardening, vulnerability and patch management; a working style characterized by personal responsibility, solution orientation, and very good German and English skills.
