The client is a global fintech company that provides Payments as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, enabling banks and fintechs to launch, manage, and scale card and payment programs. Through its platforms, the company supports the development of digital, debit, credit, and prepaid card solutions, as well as payment processing and testing tools, helping organizations deliver secure and efficient payment experiences worldwide. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC); developing automation solutions for deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows; managing and supporting Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Docker, and containerized environments; troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues; collaborating with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and performance; and driving automation, security, and operational excellence initiatives. Requirements include 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, or related roles; strong AWS experience (EC2, RDS, infrastructure automation); hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and Docker; scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages; strong Linux/Unix administration experience; knowledge of networking, system architecture, and troubleshooting; experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools; and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Nice-to-have: experience with Pulumi or modern IaC platforms, knowledge of cryptography and security best practices, and familiarity with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks. Location: Medellín, Colombia (remote). Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM COT. Contract: indefinite, full-time (40 hours per week).
