Role & Company / Project Overview: V-Soft Digital is hiring an experienced GIS Analyst (ESRI/ArcGIS) to support a large transportation and asset management initiative in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Provide GIS analysis, data management, and spatial analysis support for large-scale transportation and asset management projects - Build and maintain GIS solutions leveraging ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro 3.x - Develop custom GIS applications and automate workflows using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python scripting - Work with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) and ESRI Roads & Highways - Query, integrate, and manage spatial databases using Oracle SQL or PostgreSQL - Develop data visualisations and reporting dashboards with Power BI Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of GIS experience - Strong expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise & ArcGIS Pro 3.x - Proficiency in ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python scripting - Solid background in GIS data management and spatial analysis - Preferred: Experience with LRS (Linear Referencing Systems) & ESRI Roads & Highways - Preferred: Oracle SQL / PostgreSQL - Nice to Have: Power BI - Visa: No students and GC with employers; local to Virginia preferred Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Work Model: Hybrid - Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia, United States (Local to VA preferred) Compensation & Benefits: - Based on experience and qualifications Application Instructions: - Send your updated resume via email to the hiring contact.
