Our client, a reputable firm in the Oil & Gas sector, is hiring a Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of company facilities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of ensuring that all facility-related activities are carried out effectively to support smooth business operations. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day maintenance and operation of company facilities, coordinating repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance activities, monitoring facility equipment to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, managing relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, conducting routine facility inspections and addressing identified issues promptly, monitoring utility usage and recommending cost-saving measures where applicable, maintaining records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service schedules, ensuring cleanliness, security, and proper upkeep of company premises, and supporting administrative and operational needs related to facility management. Key requirements include a minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Business Administration, or any related field, minimum of 3 years relevant experience in facility management or a similar role, strong knowledge of building maintenance, health and safety standards, and facility operations, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage vendors effectively, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a professional appearance and positive attitude.
