Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Henkel (Adhesive Technologies) is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations at its plant in Kurkumbh, Maharashtra. This is a full-time, permanent operational leadership role responsible for driving Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Productivity, while building manufacturing capabilities and fostering a culture of operational excellence. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead end-to-end plant operations across Production, Maintenance, Engineering & Quality. - Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement methodologies. - Own plant KPIs covering Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Productivity. - Lead CAPEX, budgeting, investment planning & fixed asset management. - Drive Henkel Production System (HPS) initiatives and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). - Ensure strict compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), legal, regulatory & corporate standards. - Lead workforce planning, capability development & succession planning. - Manage key external and internal stakeholders, including local authorities, statutory bodies & employee councils/unions. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. - MBA is an added advantage. - Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt preferred. - Experience: 9 to 12 years of relevant manufacturing experience. - Strong exposure to batch process manufacturing and comprehensive end-to-end plant operations. - Preferred Industry Background: Pharma (API/Formulations), Specialty Chemicals, FMCG, MPT, or experience in Coatings/Lubricants and manufacturing environments with strong cleanroom/process compliance exposure. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Working Days: 5 days per week. - Location: Kurkumbh, Maharashtra, India. - Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates are requested to share their updated CV via the specified email address.
