The Treasury Officer is responsible for managing the Company's cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risks by ensuring the efficient utilization of financial resources, maintaining adequate funding for operations, and supporting the achievement of business objectives through effective treasury management practices. Duties and responsibilities: Carry out daily reporting activities, deal with banks and assist supervisors in cash and liquidity management. Prepare cash positions daily. Prepare payment/cheques and get them signed by authorized signatories and coordinate with vendors to deliver the cheques once processed. Register daily bank transactions in ERP. Prepare bank reconciliation on a weekly basis. Provide support for monthly closing purposes as per assigned tasks. Undertake trade finance and other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Any other tasks related to the treasury department. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting functions. Practical experience in cash management, investment analysis, debt management, and financial risk management. Experience in banking operations, cash flow forecasting and treasury reporting is preferred. Experience within the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
