Apex Footwear Ltd. is hiring an Assistant Manager for the Industrial Engineering department. The role involves calculating and maintaining accurate Standard Minute Values (SMV) for all production processes, performing line balancing, and establishing production targets to maximize productivity and efficiency. The candidate will conduct loss time analysis and recommend corrective actions to minimize non-productive time, lead and support efficiency improvement projects, prepare and monitor factory production plans based on customer demand and capacity, and calculate required manpower and overtime requirements. Additional responsibilities include tracking daily production progress, preparing and submitting production reports, leading continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams, analyzing production data for productivity improvement and cost reduction, supporting lean manufacturing implementation, and ensuring effective utilization of resources. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Production Engineering, Leather Engineering or a related discipline, with 6-7 years of relevant experience in reputed local or MNC. Competencies include strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, process analytical skill, leadership and communication skills, and a results-driven approach.
