Responsibilities include Health, Safety & Environment Management; implementing and monitoring HSE policies and safety management systems; ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and industry standards; conducting regular site inspections, audits, and safety assessments; risk assessment & compliance; identifying workplace hazards and performing risk assessments; monitoring Permit-to-Work systems for high-risk activities; ensuring effective implementation of safety controls and corrective actions; training & awareness; conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs; promoting a strong safety culture across project sites; incident management; investigating incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; preparing incident reports and recommending preventive measures; monitoring implementation of corrective and preventive actions; documentation & reporting; maintaining HSE records, reports, and compliance documentation; preparing periodic safety performance reports; supporting client audits and safety reviews; emergency preparedness; coordinating emergency response planning and mock drills; ensuring readiness and inspection of emergency equipment. Desired skills include strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations; experience in Steel Plants, Power Plants, Manufacturing Facilities, or Heavy Industries; knowledge of LOTO, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, Risk Assessment, and Permit-to-Work Systems; excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills; ability to manage safety compliance across multiple projects and teams.
