Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: A leading IT services and technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support enterprise and regional network infrastructure in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Provide L3 technical support for complex network incidents and infrastructure issues. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment and FortiGate firewalls. - Support wireless network infrastructure, connectivity, and performance optimisation. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for recurring network issues. - Coordinate with vendors and regional teams on network maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure projects. - Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies. - Practical experience with FortiGate firewalls and wireless networking. - Proven experience in L3 network support, complex troubleshooting, and incident resolution. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Comfortable with on-call support and planned after-hours maintenance when required. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. - Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable Annually). - Shift/Availability: On-call support and planned after-hours maintenance as needed. • Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: Up to RM 13,300 per month. • Application Instructions: - Send updated CV to the recruiter via the provided email address.
