We are hiring an SAP Event Management Consultant with 3+ years of experience to join our team. If you have worked on SAP Event Management and have a good understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, this could be a great fit for you. The position involves participating in SAP Event Management implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support engagements. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Event Handlers, Event Handler Types, Event Messages, Event Message Types, Tracking IDs, Event Profiles, External systems and partner interfaces; performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting event processing failures; preparing functional specifications and supporting development activities; participating in testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support activities; and conducting user training and knowledge transfer sessions when required. Required technical skills include minimum 3 years hands-on experience in SAP Event Management, strong understanding of SAP Event Management architecture and configuration, experience configuring Event Handlers, Event Handler Types, Event Messages, Event Message Types, Tracking IDs, Expected Events, Event Profiles, Rule Sets, Milestone Monitoring, Alert Management, Event Monitoring, strong knowledge of supply chain visibility and exception management processes, experience with Event Handler generation and event processing frameworks, hands-on experience working with IDOCs, XML Messages, PI/PO Integration, Middleware Concepts, External System Interfaces, ability to analyze and resolve failed event messages and processing issues, experience supporting production environments and incident management, and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred skills include exposure to SAP Business Network and logistics visibility platforms and experience working on enterprise-scale and global SAP projects.
