Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Dolphin Offshore is recruiting a Rig Mechanic to maintain and repair mechanical machinery, diesel engines, and fluid systems aboard an offshore drilling rig. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct routine servicing and overhaul of diesel engines, mud pumps, compressors, and hydraulic units. • Troubleshoot mechanical failures on drawworks, cranes, BOP handling equipment, and auxiliary systems. • Execute preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate machinery logbooks. • Manage spare parts inventory and mechanical workshop tools safely. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Certified mechanical qualification or trade diploma. • Prior background as a Rig Mechanic on offshore drilling platforms. • High proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and large industrial diesel engines. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Standard offshore rotation. Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive offshore compensation.
