Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Dolphin Offshore is hiring a Rig Electrician to manage, service, and maintain all electrical systems and power generation equipment on an offshore drilling rig. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Maintain diesel generator power sets, SCR/VFD systems, switchboards, and transformers. • Inspect and troubleshoot drill floor motors, top drives, drawworks, and hazardous-area lighting. • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical distribution and safety installations. • Ensure all electrical gear complies with hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx standards). Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Relevant electrical trade qualification or diploma/degree in electrical engineering. • Experience as an Electrician on offshore drilling units. • Valid offshore certifications and CompEx / hazardous area certification preferred. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Offshore rotation schedule. Compensation & Benefits: • Standard offshore remuneration package.
