Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for skilled Soldering Technicians (2 Openings) with sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience in electronic component soldering, SMD assembly, and PCB rework to join our Production / Electronics Manufacturing department at Vedang Radio Technology. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Perform soldering, desoldering, PCB assembly, and rework activities. - Handle through-hole and Surface-Mount Device (SMD) components. - Perform fine-pitch component soldering and PCB rework as per work instructions. - Identify electronic components, packages, footprints, polarity, and pin configurations. - Select and operate appropriate soldering equipment and tools. - Identify and work with different connector types used in electronic assemblies. - Inspect solder joints for quality, defects, and compliance with workmanship standards. - Follow ESD precautions, safety procedures, and approved assembly practices. - Maintain proper documentation and ensure quality standards are met. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Candidates must have both theoretical and practical knowledge of: - Soldering Equipment and Tools: Soldering stations, soldering irons, hot-air rework stations, tweezers, and related tools. - Basic Electronic Components: Resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, and other electronic components. - Component Packaging and Footprints: Understanding of component packages, PCB footprints, polarity, and pin identification. - Soldering Techniques: Through-hole soldering, desoldering, rework, and inspection of solder joints. - SMD Packages and Soldering: Knowledge of SMD packages and practical soldering of surface-mount components. - Connector Types: Identification and soldering of commonly used PCB connectors, wire connectors, and RF connectors. - Educational Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant training and experience. - Experience: Relevant hands-on experience preferred. - Preferred Skills: Experience in electronic PCB assembly and rework; familiarity with ESD handling and electronic assembly quality standards; experience working with RF and microwave electronic assemblies will be an advantage. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Department: Production / Electronics Manufacturing. - Onsite role in India. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should apply by sending their resumes directly to the designated recruitment email.
